Listen… if you’re planning a trip to Egypt, don’t skip Hurghada. The best hotels in Hurghada are one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back. If you’re following my 7 Day Egypt Itinerary, I highly recommend adding a few extra days here after exploring Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan. Trust me, there’s nothing better than slowing down by the Red Sea after days of temples, museums, and sightseeing.
First off, it’s incredibly easy to get here from Cairo. You can catch a quick flight, or if you’ve got more time than money, hop on a bus. They’re surprisingly comfortable, have air conditioning, and usually cost around $10 USD.
The water here is unbelievably blue, the beaches are stunning, and the sunsets honestly never get old. If you’re wondering which best hotels in Hurghada are actually worth booking, these are the ones I’d recommend.

If you’re looking for luxury, this hotel is hard to beat.
The pools are massive, the private stretch of beach is beautiful, and the whole resort feels incredibly luxurious without being over the top.
The staff were so friendly and helpful during my stay. The buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner all had a huge variety of food, and honestly, everything I tried was delicious.

Sunrise Crystal Bay Resort – Best All-Inclusive Hotel in Hurghada
If all-inclusive is your thing, I’d definitely look at Sunrise Crystal Bay.
Everything is taken care of for you, which, to me, is what a vacation is all about. The hardest decision you’ll make all day is deciding which restaurant to eat at. 😂
The resort feels upscale but is still great for families. One of my favorite parts was the private cove-style beach. It almost feels like your own little slice of paradise.
The service is fantastic from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave.

Jaz Aquamarine Resort – One of the Best Hotels in Hurghada for Families
If you’re traveling with kids, Jaz Aquamarine is such a fun choice.
There are so many pools, water slides, and activities that everyone stays entertained. Honestly, I’m an adult and still love a good water slide, so no judgment here. 😂
You’ll also find several buffet restaurants, à la carte dining, and direct access to a huge stretch of beach.
It’s one of the best hotels in Hurghada for families who want everything in one place.

Best Adults-Only Hotels in Hurghada
Sunrise Holidays Resort – Best Adults-Only Hotel in Hurghada
Sometimes you just want peace and quiet.
That’s exactly what Sunrise Holidays offers.
Because it’s adults only, the atmosphere feels calmer and a little more grown-up. You know what I mean?
If you’re looking to completely switch off, this is a fantastic option for couples or anyone wanting a relaxing getaway.

Best Boutique Hotels in Hurghada
Cook’s Club El Gouna – A Boutique Hotel Near Hurghada Worth Staying At
If boutique hotels are more your style, I absolutely love Cook’s Club.
The design is gorgeous. Think natural concrete walls, lots of greenery, oversized windows, and a beautiful lagoon-style pool.
When you’re not relaxing, you can book a massage, go horseback riding, play beach volleyball, go diving, windsurfing, or even play golf.
It’s stylish without feeling pretentious.

Which Area Has the Best Hotels in Hurghada?
Where you stay can completely change your trip.
If you’re traveling as a couple, I’d recommend Sahl Hasheesh. The beaches are stunning, the resorts are beautiful, and the whole area feels much quieter.
If you’re traveling with kids, Makadi Bay is probably the better choice. There are lots of family-friendly resorts and plenty to keep everyone entertained.
On the other hand, if you’d rather be close to restaurants, markets, and nightlife, stay in central Hurghada.
